This phase marked DDC’s first instruction within the City Fields development. Acting as project manager for a private consortium comprising Miller Homes, Grantley Developments, and Stretton Estates, DDC played a central role in shaping the early foundations of the wider City Fields vision.

Working across more than 110 acres, DDC coordinated the land acquisition process, supported the strategic master planning of the site, delivered key infrastructure including the Wakefield Eastern Relief Road, secured planning consents, and managed land disposals on behalf of the Consortium.

As part of this commission, DDC oversaw successful planning approvals and disposals for over 1,190 dwellings, alongside managing the sales of land for the District Centre and Care/Retirement Living parcels. This phase of the City Fields development is now nearing completion, with Miller Homes currently building out their final residential phase.
